LeBron James (39) of the Los Angeles Lakers is in trouble for a three-point shot. He is now mired in a slump, as he failed to score any of the 19 three-point shots he has thrown in the last four games.

James missed all four 3-pointers against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2024-25 NBA regular league away game at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA on the 3rd (Korea time), causing the team to lose 80-109.

Notably, James showed extreme difficulty in shooting, as only four of his 16 field throws entered the basket on the day, recording a success rate of 25 percent of his field goals. James recorded 10 points (eight rebounds, four assists) during the 31-minute game, the lowest score in his NBA career since he was a rookie. His average score is 22 points.

Of the 19 3-pointers James has thrown in the past four games, 토토사이트 꽁머니 none of them cut the gap. His worst was 24 consecutive 3-pointers from Dec. 6, 2003 to Jan. 13, the following year. ESPN reported that his fielding success rate of 25 percent is the lowest since 2004 when his fielding fell below 45 percent.

James, who turns 40 this month, aims to complete 82 games this season. “This is a goal, but we don’t want to discuss it right now,” James said. There are doubts whether his performance at the aging curve is wise for his team.

“I don’t think I’ve found the rhythm in the last three or four games,” James said. When asked about recovering from the difficulty of shooting, he said, “It’s all about throwing and throwing.”

With James struggling with six turnovers, the Lakers have also lost five of their last seven games. His 80 points is the lowest in about eight years since his 73-122 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 22, 2017. The loss put the Lakers at 12-9.

“I haven’t seen the game we played earlier this year recently,” Lakers coach JJ Redic said. “I’ll do my best to figure out the cause with the coaching staff.”
